What exactly is included in the weekly cleaning service?
Our weekly service is comprehensive. It includes skimming the surface, brushing walls and tiles, vacuuming the floor, emptying all pump and skimmer baskets, and checking your equipment for proper operation. We also test and balance your water chemistry every visit (chemicals are included) to keep your water safe and sparkling.
Do I need to be home when you service the pool?
No, you do not need to be home. We just need you to ensure that your gate is unlocked and that pets are secured inside. Our technicians will text you when they are on their way so you know exactly when to expect us.
What are my responsibilities as the homeowner?
We handle the heavy lifting, but we ask that you maintain the proper water level (around mid-tile) throughout the week. If the water level is too low, our equipment cannot run properly. Please also keep the pool area clear of toys and floats so we can vacuum thoroughly.
How do you handle minor equipment repairs?
To ensure your pool runs without interruption, our agreement authorizes us to make necessary small repairs (such as replacing a gasket or O-ring) under a set amount (typically $75–$100) without delaying to ask for permission. For larger repairs, we will always contact you for approval first.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
We generally service pools rain or shine. However, in the event of heavy thunderstorms or dangerous weather, we may pause services for safety. In most cases, we will still arrive to empty baskets, check chemicals, and ensure equipment is running, even if full vacuuming isn’t possible due to weather conditions.

What makes your pool openings different from other companies?

We use a “Vacuum to Waste” method. Instead of running dirty winter water through your pool’s filter (which can clog it and ruin your cartridges), we use heavy-duty trash pumps to suck the sludge directly out of your pool. This bypasses your system entirely, leading to a clearer pool much faster.

How much water should be in the pool before you arrive?
Please fill your pool to the top of the tile before our scheduled arrival. Because we vacuum the dirty water out of the pool (removing it completely), we need that extra water volume to do the job without draining your pool below the skimmers.
Will my pool be perfectly clear immediately after opening?
While our “Vacuum to Waste” process gets you significantly clearer water than standard openings, the water may still be cloudy or green depending on the type of cover you have (mesh vs. solid). We will shock and brush the pool to kill algae, but it may take 24–48 hours and continuous filtration for the water to turn crystal clear.
Do you remove and store the pool cover?
Yes. We will remove your cover, brush it off, fold it, and store it in your designated area. If you have a mesh cover, we recommend treating the pool with enzymes during the winter to ensure an easier opening in the spring.
